A head taller than his men (×1.3), the Chief waits in the Yellow River Bandit Den with four bandits. Five more hold every great bandit camp. A red boss bar shows his health once he fights (a target or a wound). When hit, he calls his bandits.

• Sweep ×1.0, up to 3.6 blocks, hits several targets
• Leaping Slam ×1.5 from 3–7 blocks: knocks down, every 9 s. Its shockwave (radius 3.2, ×0.6) throws back anyone the axe missed, unless they parried.

Drops

4–9 gold nuggets, 1–3 leather, 1–3 cooked beef. When a player kills him: 6 to 10 silver taels, the Long Fist Scroll 3 times in 10, a Realm-Breaking Pill 1 time in 4, one piece of his armour 1 time in 5, and the Chief's Great Axe 3 times in 100. Your first victory gives +30 Qi Max.
