A warrior monk with a shaved head, a saffron robe, a brown sash, prayer beads and bare forearms in cloth wraps. He keeps the middle court of the Misty Bamboo Daoist Temple, by the taiji on the scriptures' side, facing the stairway to the hall.

• He strolls within 6 blocks of his place and never despawns.
• Right-click to trade. His stock refills every half day.
• Neutral: he never strikes first. Strike him and he fights back with his fists, and will not trade while angry. Left unstruck for 30 seconds, he lets it go.
• Below half health, once per fight, he takes the Golden Bell form for 10 seconds: his skin turns gold, he takes 40 % less damage and nothing knocks him back.
• Killed, he leaves nothing special.

He sells

• Golden Bell Manual: 40 silver taels
• Qi Gathering Pill (elixirs): 6 taels
• 2 candles: 1 String of Cash · 4 bread: 1 String of Cash
