The road, the arch and the gate, in the game
Alliance Outpost
A garrison fort on a mound by a road, wherever the Alliance holds a pass or a frontier. In the game.
What the Alliance sets down where it wants to hold a road: a garrison fort on a levelled mound, its walls about 53 × 47 blocks, its watchtower 26 blocks high with a signal fire.
Where
Anywhere in the Murim, in any biome: about one every 1 000 blocks, on ground that is flat enough and dry. Never outside the Murim or in its ocean ring. Find one with /locate structure murimblock:alliance_outpost.
Inside
- The gate and its guardhouse; an arch on the road below
- The watchtower and its signal fire
- The command hall: the commander
- A training yard with dummies and racks; a barracks; stables with two horses
- An infirmary tent: the medic
- A notice board, a well and stores; a tea house outside the walls
- Walls with a walkway and corner towers roofed in azure tiles
Its garrison
- Two spear guards just behind the gate
- Two sword disciples between the training dummies
- An archer on the watchtower's lookout
- The sergeant in the great hall, beside the commander
- A warrior monk at the infirmary
The Alliance Merchant stands by the road before the gate, across from the tea house. With them, four villagers (the commander, the quartermaster, the medic, the roadside tea keeper), who trade in strings of cash instead of emeralds, and two horses. Two barrels hold the sites' cache.
